Photographs taken in Banda Aceh, Meulaboh and Calang in northern Sumatra in the days and months following the earthquake and subsequent tsunami of 26 December 2004 off the coast of Indonesia. These images describe the devastating effects of the tsunami on the Acehnese people and the following humanitarian aid effort in the region hardest hit by this natural disaster.
